I've never been seasick, but watched dozens of people chum for me while I was tossing buzz bombs. Dramamine seems to want to make everyone take a nap, the biggest help I've seen it offer is that it allows you to prolong puking by sleeping through a part of the sickness. There is a prescription patch that goes behind your ear that I've seen and it seems to work really well and works for three days, requires a doctors visit though. I watched an episode on Myth Busters, and their conclusion was that a ginger pill from the natural foods section worked the best (better than Dramamine). My brother gets sick, but we used to start the season with a three day trip every spring, after that initial trip he would be good for the rest of the season (basically stay on the boat until you're sick of being sick). The number one thing that I've seen to unexplainably cure seasickness is to get into a hot pod of silvers or halibut, that always gets everybody to stop puking and enjoy themselves. Good luck, I feel for you.
