At least one Baker River sockeye has succumbed to a red gammie hook 12 inches behind a 1/2 oz. spoon, casted and swung spoon style, but it looks a lot like a miniature Lk. Wa. trolling rig.

I get half a dozen a year or so fishing for summer runs, all on spinners.
