Not sure how to catch them in a river..I've tried about a hundred techniques to catch one..legally.

This year my *tactics* have changed...and as the run nears the Baker (should arrive the 3rd to the 10th if a normal year) I'm getting a number of lengthy leaders tied up.

I'll try a very sparse yarn fly, a corky...leaders are about 4 ft. in length, and 15 lb. Seaguar flourocarbon.

If I can hook one in the mouth it'll be good enough for me. 4 years I've chased these things in the Skagit with bupkis to show for it...not this year. One way or another, I'm taking home a limit..;-)
