I have tried on the Patagonia jackets (Deep Wading and Stretch SST) and they both seem pretty solid. The SST is longer, has a rod holder and waterproof pocket for valuables. The Deep wading is cut shorter and weighs less. Fits well with a vest. Both hand warmer pockets, nice for those icy winter days on the river. Both have cuffs that seem like they would seal well but who knows. I am having a hard time deciding between the two. Leaning towards the SST.

I won't post the whole link here as it is quite long, but their site, patagonia.com, has the info.
