That's what i'm trying to say too. Facts, numbers, and percentages aside, the general observation "in the river" over the last half decade is that the numbers of fish are going straight downhill. With wild stocks especially, When do we start looking at how many fish are really in the river instead of some fancy guestimation of what's expected to be there?

I think it's plainly obvious to sportfishermen and commercials that, in some rivers, the Puget Sound Chum runs are at the brink of collapse.
