Perhaps there was some strange language barrier...

It seems that they thought you were asking for the "weight" of the rod, ie: light, med., heavy...

Are you curious for shipping purposes?

Suffice to say that a Loomis flyflicker will be "light"...

They understood very well, herebelow you will find a complet email's exchange:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Me:
Hi, Could you please tell me the weight of the folowing rods : STR1163C STR1104C STR1082C STR1143C STR1084C And also with which blank (IMX GL3,...) are made Steelhead Series (New!) Thank you in advance and have a nice day. J. Dziki

G.LOOMIS:
I cannot give you the weight of the rods because we don't weigh our rods. Why? Each rod may weigh differently due to the rods are
handmade and someone may put more flexcoat on the rod or even do an extra wrap.
Usually, when we come out with a new rod, we do not offer it in a
blank for at least two or three years. The new rods are a variable graphites-a combination of graphites..

Me:
Thank you for the quick reply.
I don't need the very exact weight, just approximative one (+/- gr).
In order to have an idea of weight, I cannot to see the rod here in
europe, and the weight is important to me. So before to order overseas I
need to know the weight.

G.LOOMIS:
you go by the line weight and the power? The STR1163C is 6-12
line weight, med. Light power? Wouldn't that tell you how light they
are?
Good Fishin',
-------------------------------------------------

Some of you suggest the SAGE rods, I think they offer only fly rods ??
I precise, I am looking for a casting rods.

Thanks for all replies

Have a nice day
