You must be a climber...



The problem with sledding the Oxbow isn't the water depth, it's the TWO 90deg turns within a couple hundred feet and the fact that there are HUGE boulders all the way up and down that you'd have to dodge.

Granted, at around 20,000 cfs that whole zone flattens out and covers all the rocks, ...there wouldn't be an S-turn to make, just trees to dodge.

I have floated it in a raft at near 20Kcfs and it's cake... other spots on the river aren't: try the dead end road @ above 16K cfs
