I had Toyo A/T's (305x55 R20) on my '06 F-250. Just pulled them off last month. Damn things barley lasted 40,000 Miles. I'll do the BFG's next I think. I'm back to stock wheels and tires for now. Hey, the fuel economy is about half again better and there's much better freeway handling and less road noise.

Then again, They pulled a heavy load over The Cascades and The Rockies mulitple times and across +120*F Arizona highway.

It all depends on the rubber hardness and tread pattern/depth for what you'll be doing. My mistake was using meaty A/T tires on a cross-country freeway trip. Same as you shouldn't use highway tires to explore USFS fire trails.

Don't go jogging in leather boots or try to hike in running shoes.
