I believe there is a move afoot to build the M's into a defacto Japanese team. I think Hargrove knew it and got the hell out. Also, why was Kenji Johjima given a contract extension at such a strange time?

BTW, I let my season tickets go this year. The M's have systemic problems that are widespread and not easy to fix. My prediction is that they will not be competitive until there are changes with both ownership and management. I am not that patient. Nor am I a sucker. The beer at Safeco is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE anyways!
