Only complaint is the weight of the rod. Holding it high when fishing floats all day makes my wimpy arms tired sometimes. An IMX model could be cool. Probably wouldn't consider a Gl2 for action/weight reasons.


counter weight your float rods guys. it will make a huge difference when holding that rod tip up all day. i use to get tired arms after just a couple hours of long cast and mending. but this season with a counter weight i have yet to have that problem.

i use 1 1/2oz for a 10'6" rod and it makes it nice and light in the tip.
