That's incredibly significant. I wonder how many schools used this day to teach kids something about civics. I watched part of the "Kids Inauguration Party" last night on Disney; it was designed as a tribute to military families. What's important is that they brought the kids into the converstation and made them aware of the government and how to be involved in civil service. They kept repeating "YOU are the future." I thought that compelling. Far too many Americans are simply civically stupid.

I'm reminded of that every time I read a 2nd Amendment thread.
