I caught my first steelhead by accident out of the Navarro river near Ft. Bragg back in 1974.

I make it back to Cali a couple of time a year for business and to visit my brother in Napa... and even all there years later I still get a little homesick. I grew up fishing stripers and sturgeon in Suisun Bay and the delta around Rio Vista. I've backpacked through and fished trout in most of the Sierras too. I don't think I'd ever move back, but I still do miss the weather.
