i landed 3 steelhead over the weekend. 2 nates on sat. and a brat today. one of the nates had both eyes bugged! like they had popped from the sockets. this i have never seen before. sorry no pics.

the mid columbia river is chucked full of runt steelheads.... all of them, wether nate or brat thier barely 4#s. all my fish were out in the columbia out from the mouth of the big white salmon.

i'll say this those runt steelheads packed a whallup. they weren't push overs, they fought hard. i've never seen steelhead jump so high. saw many jump 4'+ straight up.

all on dyed prawns.
