Not sayin' I have much/any sympathy for thieves. Would like to see them get their day in court and be prosecuted. But Salmo, aren't some of "society's presumed or alledged [sic] values" also "innocent until proven guilty" and "right to trial by jury of one's peers"? Didn't the actions of this vigilante go against these presumed or alleged values? It could be argued that when we stop prosecuting vigilantes we are actually undermining the true values of our society.
