Thanks for the good wishes. I met my son and one of his Army buddies for lunch at Mamacita's in Belltown. Big props to them for free lunch for Vets on Veteran's Day.
A replica of the Viet Nam memorial made a trip thru Kitsap a few years ago. They did a good job of making a smaller size replica and it's worth seeing even if you can't take a trip to DC. The memorial to Washington's servicemen that paid the ultimate price on the south side of Benaroyaq Hall n Seattle is worth taking alook at also. I stopped there yesterday to pay respects to my Uncle and three friends.
