Hank, you assert that West's cowboy actions saved lives. I'm challenging that assertion. You don't know with certainty that his actions didn't actually put his men in more danger eventually. You think he acted in a vaccuum? I can say with certainty that it didn't take long for his actions to be relayed to the enemy, which may have actually emboldened them.

Why is it the righties only take issue with fratricide by muslims? And why do they keep blaming the Army, accusing them of political correctness gone wrong? It's got nothing to do with PC. It's purely a local command issue. Unless, of course, someone can offer some proof that a request to have him removed from the Army was thwarted because of his religion. Show me a regulation that states he can't be chaptered because he's muslim. You can't, there isn't one. It's not about the DoD being too PC. It's about the righties politicizing another atrocity to keep their base scared, and attempt to score politcal points. Period.
