I am a Life time member of N.R.A.
So is my 80 year old dad,
I just found out I have emphysema at only 52 years old.
This disease will Definitely put a damper on my outdoor activities.
When you find things out like this it kind of makes you look back on life.
One of the best things I ever did was join the N.R.A.
Of course its not my first priority, That would have to be my family, wife and children.
Maybe the reason why I support the N.R.A. is the first hunting trip I took with my dad.
Maybe its because From the time I was ten years old I have been shooting some kind of firearm.
Maybe its because of my heritage my Grandfather and great Grandfather, The way they ate back then was meat hunting.
I hate to say it Todd because You have some great posts but I think being an outdoorsman is being about stewardship of the resources Fishing and Hunting as well as enjoying it.
I could go on and on about the positives of the N.R.A.
Habitat improvement, Gun Safety, Protecting The Peoples Rights To Keep And Bear Arms ETC....
But Charleton Heston has nothing to do with the Reason Why I Joined the N.R.A.
By The way, It's not hard to figure out this Senate Bill is just another ploy by the anihunters to take away a little bit more of our freedom.
I have not hunted for a few years now, My main hobby now is protecting The few animals we have left in our area Because of what I have learned from my Dad and the N.R.A.
With all of the housing developments going up in our area The habitat for our wildlife is disappearing,
I did join the WDFW Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary program And Have Done Many Things to improve My Acreage for wildlife Because of my love for Wildlife.
I do love watching the deer in other wildlife in my backyard.
