Don't let the Black Hills scare you (past the right amount of respect, of course). As usual, a little common sense and restraint while navigating the hills will keep you on the road. Just think of it as training for your future gig as one of the stars of Ice Road Truckers.

Personally, I have more issues with losing traction on ice in downtown Elma. Main Street is like a skating rink at times. I've never driven through McCleary in icy conditions, but I bet that hill you come down on the way into town can get pretty sketchy on occasion.

I concur that your current boat arsenal is just about perfect for Grays Harbor. In fact, I am duly jealous. I wouldn't change a thing.
