One of the reasons WWI ended was because of massive mutinies and sit-down labor strikes across Europe. The European gov'ts were facing the same thing The Tsar got. It was getting to the point that the daily losses from executing deserters and mutineers was exceeding that of battle casualties. There's a beach in France or Belgium that GB held its firing squads over an open pit. It's one of the largest mass graves in the world.
It's going to take the same thing to end this constant war we're in.
