A 13 ft rod on a 14 foot wide river eliminates the need to even cast, just wade and whip.... I can see why you guys wind up with the wands.

And hey, I can cast a bait caster, mostly without bird's nests; surely better than you can cast a fly rod. But what's with the skilz? You don't catch fish because of your skilz, you're just a damn fish magnet who could walk along the water with a big basket, and like "come to Jesus," the fish would just jump in it.
