Since the book is based on Catch Card Statistics, it goes up to 2000. The 2001 just came out. So they are a bit (ok a lot) behind. I would love them to get caught up. But the info is great as far as seeing a trend and which rivers are strong and when. The other thing that is good is these dates include all steelhead taken (native and hatchery). The reason this is "good" for info is it shows which rivers have stronger runs and when the PEAK of each run is. This is somewhat dependent on flows, however all things being equal a look at the flow rates and the book will help you make up your mind as to where to go.
