Hello all ! I am new to the bulletin Board and this is my first post. I love to fish as you all do. I fish everything from Halibut to Salmon , Rivers and Lakes and just bought my first Fly rod recently !!!!

I launched out of Lake Stevens this weekend aboard the Ancient Mariner with 2 of my 3 kids. We did not fish long since my daughter the 2 year old was very impatient go figure !!!. My son is oposite he has no quit in him and fishes like a seasoned veteran. Well we soaked some worms under a bobber dont laugh I have caught some lunker Rainbows years ago on this simple set-up . Well we found fish but could not get them to bite .

Can anybody give me a clue what kind of fish these were ? And how to what I should present this time of year ? They were roughly in 15' of water on the South East side of the lake. And appeared to be bigger fish. I didnt think they were kokanee because I have targeted these fish before with downriggers in the middle of the lake with some success but no monsters. I am novice when it comes to bass fishing but always willing to learn a new technique.

HOOK-UP !
