It was amazing watching my old lab Chester (RIP) train himself. I got him when I was 14 and did the best I could with my high school schedule. I remember realizing that my dog had figured out to get the cripples first, the long retrieves next, and the close ones last. I never had time to show him that stuff, he just got it. Amazing.
