i loved my old job printing newspapers. good paying honest work, and couldn't beat the hours for fishing(wednesday - sunday, 6pm-1:30am). unfortunately that business is in the crapper now, along with all other commercial printing, so my training isn't doing me any good now.

now i'm a small engine mechanic, it's not a bad job but i hate small business BS even more than dealing with the red tape working for a big company. i get to meet a lot of interesting people and my job gives me a new challenge every day.

the thing that tortures me though is living within 20 miles of about 7 different fishable rivers and being stuck working banker's hours with weekends off now. gonna look into one of those pontoon building jobs once they start hiring i think...
