Were you using the old "Lakes of Western Washington" by Ernie Wolcott? I'm not sure on the last name, but remember it was Ernie W---.

He did report a lot of MBS stockings from his 50's and 60's data.

Not sure what the difference is, but do know that the TW (Twin Lakes) cutts have lots of red on their sides. First time I saw pictures of one I thought it was a golden.

Joe Lake had TW cutts stocked in it by the late 70s'. I would think that Slide and others would too.
