I've also had luck with the smaller chenille bodied (or krystal flash) with stubby yarn tails. The one's I've found at the store (GI Joes in this case) are called 'Ultra Jigs'. I've noticed the quality is looking a bit shabby this year, but they should still work. My buddy and I have had our best luck with solid black with white jig head and a pink body with white tail and jighead.

Today I hooked (and lost) one using blue and white marabou.

I think the best thing is to just put on a jig that you know 'should work', and concentrate on a natural drift with little or no drag.

Also, some jigs work really well tipped with a plastic worm tail, sand shrip tail, or prawn meat.
