He and I go salmon fishing in my boat and he will tie on a fly and troll along the surface and catch salmon while I will be running a dodger and hoochie and catch nothing. Go figure! My friend ties his own. He makes up some of the weirdest bugs you will ever see. Even on the Green fishing for salmon he will cast out a homemade fly with a split shot and knock 'em dead. Fish and fly's seem to naturally go together.
