ive noticed that spoons tend to take larger trout when im trolling. triple teasers are my personal favorite. i prefer silver or bronze for flash, depending on visibility and depth. im sure other colors would work fine as long as you get in front of the fish you should do alright. you can tip your spoons with bait or foam scent balls if you like, but just make sure it doesnt kill the action of the lure, a little can go a long way.
