They are very aggressive and used to control stunted populations.

I think most trout are opportunistic... if they are hungry and there is powerbait in front of them then I am sure they would go for it. But if they had to choose between powerbait and a yummy young bass then they'd probably go for the bass!!

I am sure the fact that they are unique fish will draw anglers. We have only put them in high lakes but we are dealing with stunted brook trout and not trying to bring anglers in.

I know of a couple of anglers who have caught them and they are REALLY beautiful fish.

It is really sad when some people decide they are helping a lake by introducing a species on their own. Some of our lakes are managed for trout only for a reason and when they bring bass or other species in, they are making things worse for the lake in general.
