Stacie: I was just getting into flyfishnig when I lived in your area, but I believe
there is a small flyfishing club in Kelso and perhaps one in Vancouver too.
Contacts there should produce one or more willing flyfishers to teach such a class free.

It should be well advertised ahead of time and clearly stated as for beginners
and those with no experience wishing to learn. The foremat should be an inside
session on basic equipment & cost, fly types, chironomiding method and flies,
nymph dragging methods and basic nymph species & flies. This should be followed by
an outside session where the techniques are demonstrated on some eager
trout to perk enthusiasm.

Good luck on making this idea a reality. It's a good way to start.
