Sorry if I sounded like a dick. I'm getting too caught up in the douche-isms on this site. I won't be affraid to lend a hand to anybody out there on the river bed looking for advice, and alot of guys are the same way. Don't be affraid to make a fool of yourself. I've learned alot more from good guys out on the river than I have with online resources/books. A guide is also a great way to answer a ton of your questions. On this forum you can't see who's hooking fish and whos not..... When you're out there, you get to pick who you get advice from- and make sure it's the guy hook'n fish. You got your new rod and a couple bobbers and jigs- thats all you need. Once you get those three things to work, it's time to worry about the details to increase your numbers. Build a foundation. Alot of rivers will be in shape this week.....
