Partially true...kinda. The rule allowing professionals to play in the Olympics did not occur until 1989, so the "Dream Team" was in 1992. And Coach K was an assistant coach on that team. Coach K has also been the head coach of the USA squad since 2005.

Defense in an NBA game? You must be kidding. They don't even play defense until the playoffs. Defense is played intensely from the tip to the ending buzzer in college ball; that's the reason the college game is so much better, IMO. Well, that and heart. Coaching in the NBA is more about managing/babysitting a bunch of crybaby millionaires than it is about X's and O's...and is the reason I don't watch it at all. I don't give a rat's ass about Lebron, Le Heat, Kobe, etc., etc.
