Welcome to the board!

I fish Redondo all the time since it is in my back yard.

Here is what works for me:

1. Start with a green or glow 11" Hot Spot dodger. Behind that put a either a white/glow hoochie or a 4.0 Coyote spoon in either solid silver, green/silver, or blue/silver.

2. Doesn't hurt to throw a little herring stink on your offering either.

3. I like the spoon or the hoochie real close to the dodger, 24 inches. Common thinking is at least 30 - 60 inches off the dodger. If you keep your lead short the dodger really whips the crap out of the hoochie or spoon and that drives the salmon nuts.

4. If you want Coho fish for them right on the surface. If you want Kings drop your offering down to 50-70 feet in about 100-120 feet of water.

The nice thing about Redondo is you can start fishing as soon as you leave the launch, you don't have to run to get into prime waters. Just look for the other boats and troll in their direction.

Hope this helps!
