every year our local school district is audited by the state auditor's office which i don't mind but what bothers me is the 90 dollars they charge us. every other year is a major audit that cost us around $20,000 other years less than $10,000. there 295 school districts in the state. i wonder what happens to all that money it can not all go to pay wages.
