Under the proposed 2011-13 biennial budget for the State Auditor's Office, no general funds are received...it is totally financed by Performance audit fees. http://www.sao.wa.gov/EN/News/Documents/House_Gen_Govt_Approp_012511.pdf Remember 2009 Initiative? It required State Auditor to perform performance audits of state and local agencies.
