No, nothing to do with Palin. I don't care for much of anything that comes out of Texas but I was rooting hard for the Mavs to take Miami. They seemed to be underdogs the whole way; nobody gave them much of a chance against James, Wade, and Bosch but they played unselfishly and as a team. I'm glad for Dirk, the 37 year old Kidd and the rest of the Mavs.

I guess I'm most happy that a bunch of well-coached, humble players can still beat a bunch of superstars, unless one of them happens to be MJ.
