Went to Alder on Monday, not very many people there probably two other rigs in the launch parking lot. From the amount of garbage stacked by the dumpster though, I bet its really busy on the weekends.

We trolled the Little Nisqually arm and the Dam, each got five Kokanees apiece that all were about 10 inches in length. Used pop gear with wedding rings tipped with either worms or power bait and trolled slow, sometimes just letting the wind push us.

Along the Little Nisqually Arm we saw two Osprey nests and while we were there a pair of Bald Eagles flew by. Your kids would probably get a kick out of seeing them, it distracted us enough that we missed a couple of bites.

Recommend going during the week if at all possible as my friend says that there are alot of tubers and jet skiers on the weekends. I'm sure this would scare away most wildlife and make it alot harder to catch anything.
