Perhaps there is some variation in floating characteristics between manufacturers of braided line?

I fish power pro exclusively. For float fishing in particular, it is far superior to mono with regard to fishability. Floats higher, easier to cast, easier to mend, easier to catch up to fish on a long drift due to no stretch, etc.
