I use a "Dwight Schu" model from Cabelas. Its an all-right pack over all. The frame is a nylon standard Coleman Peak 1 frame. The bag is real nice, roomy , water proof, and fleece on the outside so its real quiet. Bag removes easily, and comes with attachable/detachable fanny pack. Its made light and comfortable so you an hunt while wearing it. I've had some pretty heavy quarters on it, and it packs pretty well. Very comfortable. For strictly heavy packing I think the Cabelas packer with the shelf may be better. Depends on what you want. Some guys still prefer a Trapper Nelson board just for getting a load "up the hill", but I wouldn't want to backpack hunt with one of those or a "Bull Pack".
