More than 1200 birth announcements between 1960 and 1965 were shown to contain Hawaiian addresses for registrants of births outside of the state of Hawaii, including more than three hundred in which the child was born outside of the United States.

Newspaper editors didn't even confirm native birth status. The newspaper doesn’t care if the birth occurred in the local hospital. They don’t even print the address of the birth. They publish the address of the registrant, not the birth place.

The Obama may have been born in Hawaii before he was born in Kenya.
