I'm not aware of any rule that says you can't have a scope if you want one, I just cant think of a reason why you would want one. The range is short, the bird is big and at any reasonable range for a shot the pattern of the pellets is more than adequate to compensate for a reasonable hold that isn't perfect. I sure don't mean to sound as if you shouldn't have one if you want one. What ever you like is what you should do. But if you have an extra minute could you tell us why you would want one. Is it some type of vision problem?
