I saw their boats a few times last weekend. They handed out pamphlets to some of my friends when they were watching the whales. I had more of a problem with some Yacht a-hole swamping our boat. Was near shore drifting along next to some kayakers. He came through the middle of us at full speed & the wave crested over the top of our boat swamping us.

I've done a lot of fishing around Henry Island, had a pod of KW's with several babies swim right next and under my boat...there must have been 15 or so, something I'll never forget. Did you see any?


The Orcas put on a great show. I think I counted 12 or so. They might have been transients... They were right up against the rocky shoreline where I saw some seals chillin in the kelp beds the day before. Saw some thrashing around & one go airborne and flop on his side.
