What kind of doors? Wooden stained, wooden painted or steel?

Steel will require an oil base. Wooden painted can be regular latex (satin or semi-gloss) and stained will require a ton of prep work.

Not sure of your budget, but most interior doors (wooden paneling / hollow) can be bought for rather cheap ($100 each or less). Some places will even re-hang your old hardware for free if you bring it in.
