On Sunday morning, I caught the second half of a local king 5 production. I had only heard bits of the "property tax swap" that the candidates and the legislature is working out. It was explained by the host, that the state would need to raise property taxes on home and business, to fund schools completely and fairly. At the same time, local districts would be required reduce Levy taxes by the same amount in principle. Local districts having to beg voters for local funds, in poor districts, are often short on money, so it seems that some tinkering will be needed.

So Inslee comes along and goes after McKenna for supporting the basic plan, which according to the host, has bipartisan support in the legislature. Inslees main complaint, that the plan McKenna supports will not yield new money, but increase taxes on the middle class.

Way to go, Jay. Demagogue an issue, that the legislature must fix, under a court decision. Without you, the legislature is bound and determine to raise taxes on the middle clase. Like thats never been done before.

Thats your A game?
