There is a good launch at the Falls Creek campground on the north shore of the lake. As for the fishing, we always troll spoons like a #2 canadien wonder, fst, mcnight,needlefish etc. Colors seem to be silver,silver and brass, or gold. I am sure other colors would work, but these do the best for us. We troll fairly fast, 5 to 7 mph.
An Indian permit is required to fish the lake, and they are available from the store at the lodge, or the store at the Rain Forest resort, both on the North shore. I believe a week long permit costs 5 dollars. Good luck. If you have any more questions, post here or e-mail me.
