when i floated the sky this summer i had the family with me and didn't want to brave the logjam above wallace so i walked around it. when i loked at it i would be inclined to stay on the right bank, close to it and then pull away with the current and avoid the whirlpool altogether. i'm not a real expert on the oars and i know this would put me close to the logs but it seemed like the place to be. anyway i was wondering how the more experienced rowers in this crowd handle it.
