The whole point is she left her house and was safe, but she returned to the house after retrieving her gun.


Then what about the (white) man who went into his house, got his gun, and came back out and shot the fleeing burglar (black) in the back, and got the benefit of the Stand Your Ground law?

I know what they said in her case, and they are either wrong, or applying differently depending on whether or not you are black or white.
