We are going to be in Manson for a week, the first week of August.

Any suggestions for where/what to try for? Within an hour would be nice. Last time we took the kids to some of the ponds nearby for warmwater fish. They had a great time, caught lots of perch, sunfish, little bass etc on bobbers and worms.

I could drag our sled over with us if I wanted to, have a pontoon boat, and paddle board as well. Is there anything to try near Pateros, Methow, or in the Columbia? Bank options, or boat?

Just looking for some possibilities.
