I tried to load these pictures last year after buck season, but couldnt get it to go. Tried today and it loaded. Last year my buddy and I hunted the bald hill road area of Humboldt County (real northern California) along the Klamath river coast. This was our last trip of the year after several prior hunts. We had only seen one running buck all season. We made our morning hunt I got this guy. He weighed 205 lbs with the guts. My personal best buck ever. The bucks in this area have huge bodies, but don't have the horns to match. On the way back to camp my buddy dumped the lower buck. Wish it could be this easy every year, ok, maybe not.
