Thank you all for the very insghtful answers.... I failed to mention in my first post that I was under general anethesia because there was another issue that got fixed while the doc was down there so I do believe he was a bit more heavy handed than he would have been had it been just a vasectomy done under a local. Cool part is I have had no pain whatsoever during the process.... only the swelling and bruising when I got home. (swelling is going down!) Sorry I have not been able to respond faster... for some reason I cant login from my phone. That being said thanks again for all your "support".... And Mr. Parker you did get me thinking
